Description
Clear HTV – Hot Peel – Sublimation
Clear Heat Transfer Vinyl – Gloss finish
Clear HTV can be used as a subtle decoration – Even though the vinyl is transparent, it is still visible on the garment and can be quite effective when used alone, even on dark colours.
You can sublimate over the clear HTV making sublimation on light coloured cotton possible – the colours really POP! (You can do this on black/dark cotton also, however the image will be difficult to see, however some designs look amazing anyway!)

SUBLIMATING YOUR CLEAR HTV-
1. Mirror your image on both your sublimation print and your clear HTV cut. Weed as normal.
2. Press your Clear HTV at 160 Celcius for 10 seconds. Hot Peel.
3. Press your sublimation image over your Clear HTV at 160-170 Celcius for 25seconds.
Tip:
When using Clear HTV on light coloured cotton to sublimate, you can make your printed image a little larger than the HTV, in case you go a little crooked. Any excess will wash out pretty quickly (sublimation ink will not ‘stick’ to cotton – it will just wash away)
Please Note: If purchasing multiple metres of one colour, the length will be a FULL 2, 3, 4 metres etc, not cut separately, unless there is limited stock/unforeseeable circumstances. The benefit to having full rolls is to reduce wastage for customers through having less off-cuts, and also it makes it easier when using wide format cutters. If you would prefer the meters cut to each metre (if sharing an order with a friend to save on postage, for example) then please write this in the “Note” section at the Checkout 🙂
